Foot Inspection Mirror

Inspecting your feet on a daily basis is so important for people with diabetes, particularly if loss of sensation (neuropathy) is involved. This convenient and easy to use adjustable mirror is suitable for anyone who wants to check their feet. This is particularly useful for those who struggle to reach their feet. Diabetes can cause your feet to become more susceptible to dry and cracked skin. If left untreated, the cracked skin can lead to open sores on your feet. This combined with peripheral neuropathy would mean that you might not feel any associated pain. Likewise, blisters caused by ill-fitting shoes or a small stone in your shoe may also contribute to causing an ulcer which can quickly deteriorate or become infected. Therefore, the importance of checking your feet daily for any damage, including in between your toes is vital.

Directions for use:

Open up the mirror, lining up the raised material with the bottom edge of the mirror. Place on a flat surface on the floor and remove shoes and socks. Point the bottom of your foot towards the mirror until you get the correct angle and can view the bottom of your foot. Repeat on the other side.

Dermatonics Dry Skin Balm 200ml

This vegan friendly moisturising foot cream contains 10% urea and nourishing ingredients olive and papaya to protect and hydrate the skin. It has been designed for the treatment of dry skin as well as skin which is particularly prone to cracking.

Directions for use:

Use between one and three times daily or as instructed by your health care professional. Once skin is restored, continue using Dermatonics Dry Skin Balm daily to keep it moisturised.

Foot File

This easy to use foot file makes it easy to file down any hard skin or callus build up on the soles of your feet. With abrasive pads either side, this is a hard wearing tool is perfect for helping maintain optimum condition of your feet. Directions: Gently file any hard or rough skin on the bottom of your feet to help restore skin’s natural softness. We recommend using once or twice weekly on dry skin followed by use of a foot moisturiser. If you suffer with heavy callus build up, use more frequently until this has reduced. File can be cleaned under running water. Size: Small – Measures approximately 170mm x 40mm

Foot Nail files

Pack of 3 disposable nail files. Ideal for shaping your toenails. 100/180 grit. Measures approximately 180mm x 20mm Directions: Follow natural shape of your nail. Can also be used over the top of the nail to reduce any thickness.
